Location: Shire of Trisel, Trimaris

I am in my late forties, a proud husband, father, and a bard. I am a book pedlar by trade and a bookman by vocation. I am a romantic, a realist, and a Believer. I like a good joke, and a bad one even better. I admire all ladies for the innate beauty that is in each one, but my heart is sworn to the fair and gentle Lady Lorelei, who has consented to share my life and my name.

Highlands and Islands

Oh give me the life of the Highlands:
The heather windswept and bare;
My tartan wrapped warmly about me
Against the cold mountain air;
With broadsword and targe on my shoulder
Defending my kith and my clan.
Oh, give me a home in the Highlands
For I am a true Highland man.

Love, give me a home in the Islands
Warmed by the southern seas;
A sunlit villa piazza;
A Mediterranian breeze;
A swing in a flowering grotto
Where I feel the sun kiss my skin.
Oh, give me a home in the Islands
If you want my heart to win.

The view from the mountains is stunning.
The roar of the surf is serene.
The hush of the glens is most tranquil.
My vineyards are growing and green.
The deer and the game are a bounty.
The ocean gives bounties galore.
I know, Dear, that you love your Highlands.
But Darling, I love you more.

We'll roam twixt the Highlands and Islands
And visit all parts in bettween.
We'll take life where ever we find it
And sing of the wonders we've seen.
We'll enjoy the journey together,
And celebrate all that we find.
I'll toast my Love with a dram of scotch,
And I'll drink my Love's health with wine.
